100% Tencel - Packs

Tencel is a sustainable yarn made locally from recycled wood waste. It’s natural colour is white so there is no need for bleaching. As a result the colours are bright and vibrant. Tencel is also smooth and very shiny!

Made from 100% recycled wood waste

Dk- 225m per 100g /15 wpi

Fingering weight – 400m per 100g/21 wpi

Tencel is very strong, but also soft. It has beautiful drape but little stretch. Great for wearables or blankets, makes especially beautiful shawls!

Aftercare: can be washed at 40 degrees, don’t tumble dry.

We have previously only dyed fingering weight to order. We are now dying every colour in both DK and Fingering weight (click into the colourway and select the weight you require) and these are regularly being added, but if you don’t see what you are looking for just let us know.
