Fingering Weight

This section contains all of our fingering weight yarns – they range from 325m per 100g to 440m per 100g with most being around 400m per 100g.

Gauge is generally 28 stitches x 40 rows on 3.5mm needles = 10cm square but please check individual listings.

Our Fingering weight yarns include Tencel, Cotton, Seaweed, pineapple, hemp and sock yarn. Please note if you are looking to make socks we would only recommend our sock yarn for this.

Fingering weight yarns are also referred to as 4ply, even though they don’t always have 4 plys of yarn. They can also be referred to as sock weight. If you are looking to buy yarn for a pattern that asks for this weight, please buy the meters needed as stated in the pattern and not the gram and the meters per gram can vary.
