Nettle

Our handspun 100% nettle yarn is grown and Handspun in India.

This is a new nettle yarn and while less sharp than our previous nettle yarn it is still a rough yarn.

This is a very unusual yarn, it sheds bits from it as you are using it and is not at all soft. It can be hard to knit/crochet with as it is quite a rough yarn. We definitely don’t recommend for clothing, but have seen great results with it in woven yarn art.

Handwashing recommended.

The undyed skeins are a min 94g (up to 115g) and is approx 195m per 100g but this does vary.
