Ginger Yarn

This yarn is spun from the fibres of the Ginger plant!
This is its natural colour, it does not smell of ginger.

We have 2 options available –
The more speckled yarn is handspun, it is thicker in some places and thinner is others with fluffy slightly unspun bits. Each skein is completely different and the colouring is naturally occurring from the plant fibres. This yarn varies between 950m and 1200m per 100g and each skein is labelled with both meters and grams.

The solid thicker Ginger give 520m per 100g and is a Light Fingering Weight. It is in its natural undyed state but this shade can vary depending on the plant etc. This Ginger is much stronger than our other Ginger Yarn. And suitable for clothing and shawls.
