Tencel is a sustainable yarn made from recycled eucalyptus. It’s natural colour is white so there is no need for bleaching. As a result the colours are bright and vibrant. Tencel is also smooth and very shiny!

Made from 100% recycled wood waste

Fingering weight – 400m per 100g/21 wpi
Gauge: 28 stitches x 40 rows on 3.5mm needles = 10cm square

Gauge: 20 stitches x 32 rows on 4mm needles = 10cm square

Tencel is very strong, but also soft. It has beautiful drape but little stretch. Great for wearables or blankets, makes especially beautiful shawls!

Aftercare: can be washed at 40 degrees, don’t tumble dry.
