Undyed Sport Weight Soft Pineapple

This handspun Pineapple yarn is made from the leaves and stems of the Pineapple plant that would usually be wasted once the fruit is cut. The fibres are retted, dried and handspun all without the use of electricity. It gives a lovely soft yarn that will work well for shawls, jumpers and other wearable items (not socks – for socks use sock yarn). It is machine washable and can be dyed to order.
