Our pineapple fibre is very strong, hand spun from lots of very small threads it is quite a hairy yarn as seen in the photo.
Due to its many fibres this yarn does shed a lot and although it softens slightly on washing we feel it’s just too itchy to use for clothing. Its rough and will be difficult to knit/crochet with. It is great for bags, mats and anything that needs to be hard-wearing or yarn art.
